I took this as a colour slide about 1961 in Whirinaki, Northland, (New Zealand) between Opononi and Rawene where I had organised a series of international work camps. It has been scanned and digitally repaired and enhanced. The prehistoric flying reptile above the bell tower is a dead mosquito which just happened to be on the glass in the scanner. I like it, especially because it is dead.
